Staff Profiles

Susan Delaney, Owner

I was born in Louisville, Kentucky.  I am a 1975 graduate of Sullivan University with a degree in Accounting and Business Management. I worked in the accounting department at Northrup King in Louisville. I am an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, which allows me to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

I moved to Milford, Ohio in 1977, when my husband and I were married.  I have been married to my husband, David for 35+ years.  David is an electrician at Duke Energy.  I took a few years off to raise my family.  We have one son named Jason and a daughter named Carol.  I have three grandchildren named Emma, Maddie and Mitch.  Jason works with me on a full time basis.  David, Carol, and my daughter-in-law, Sarah, help out during the tax season.

I purchased the business from Jon & Edith Doughty (Doughty’s Tax & Accounting Service) in November of 2006. I worked for Jon for almost 20 years. Jon and his wife Edith had the business for 30 plus years.  I have for the most part kept the same staff.  The staff has always provided great service and is very friendly and experienced. I am striving to keep that same family and personal service that they have always had.

My husband and I enjoy going camping, canoeing and spending vacations with our families. David plays guitar and sings and I run sound for contemporary church services.
